Privacy Policy
DHC-6 Trainer is an aviation training and study application. This policy explains what information the Android app and related services may collect, why it is used, and how you can request deletion.
Information We Collect
- Account information such as email address and authentication identifiers when you create or sign in to an account.
- Training progress, settings, quiz results, pack access, organization links, and app preferences used to provide the learning experience.
- Purchase and entitlement information from Google Play Billing so the app can unlock paid content and restore access.
- Diagnostic information such as crash reports, performance signals, device type, app version, and basic usage events through Firebase services.
- Text you enter into AI-powered training features, such as the Oral Examiner, when you choose to use those features.
How We Use Information
- To sign you in, sync progress, restore purchases, and provide access to training content.
- To maintain app reliability, investigate crashes, and improve the training experience.
- To process optional AI training prompts and generate practice responses for training support.
- To respond to support, account, purchase, and data deletion requests.
Service Providers
The app may use Google Firebase Authentication, Firestore, Crashlytics, Analytics, App Check, Google Play Billing, and OpenAI-powered services. These providers process information only as needed to operate the app features described above.
AI Training Features
AI features are optional learning aids. Do not submit sensitive personal information, passwords, medical information, or real operational flight details. AI responses can be wrong and must not be used as a substitute for official manuals, instructor guidance, approved procedures, or regulatory requirements.
Data Sharing
We do not sell personal information. Information is shared only with service providers needed to operate the app, comply with law, prevent fraud, process purchases, or respond to user requests.
Retention
Account, progress, and entitlement records are kept while your account or app access remains active. Crash and diagnostic data is retained according to the retention settings of the relevant service provider. Some purchase, fraud-prevention, accounting, or legal records may be retained where required.
Your Choices
- You can use guest or local/offline features where available.
- You can request account and associated data deletion at Account/Data Deletion.
- You can manage Android app permissions through your device settings.
- You can cancel subscriptions through Google Play; deleting an app account does not automatically cancel an active Google Play subscription.
Children
DHC-6 Trainer is intended for aviation learners and professionals and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
Security
We use platform security features and service-provider protections to help protect information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so please contact us if you believe your account has been compromised.
